Jane Wenger, photographs at Artemisia Gallery, 9 W. Hubbard St. Opening reception is on Friday, November 12, 1976. Exhibition will be on view through December 5. Gallery hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, closed Monday.

Wenger attended the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology from September 1967 through June 1969, where she completed her coursework for a Master of Science in photography.

Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indiana, and in private collections. Jane Wenger has just begun to show her photographs, and this is her first major exhibition in Chicago.

Ms. Wenger’s black-and-white photographs, which are small in format, depict the nude form in an unusual and exaggerated scale. All the photographs on view are for sale at $35.00 per print.
